Instead of calling, you can cancel your maternity or child health clinic appointment by text message to a dedicated text message cancellation number. Only SMS 045 739 59176.
In the message, provide your name (and, when cancelling your child’s appointment, also the child’s name), the exact appointment date and time, and the maternity or child health clinic location. You cannot book a new appointment by text message. We will notify you by message once we have processed the cancellation of the appointment.
If you need a certificate of care for an ill child for your employer, contact your own health and social services centre.
