Nurse and doctor appointments at social services and health care centres

Nurse and doctor appointments at social services and health care centres

Service description

Health and social services centres provide appointments with doctors and nurses, but also other immediate primary health care services, such as dental care, maternity and child clinic services, basic rehabilitation, and assistive devices. The centres can also offer help in case of an accident, or a sudden illness such as an infectious disease or acute inflammation, without an appointment during their opening hours.

The services also include direct appointments to consult with a physiotherapist on musculoskeletal disorders, intended for clients over 16 years of age with a sudden onset of musculoskeletal symptoms without any accident or fever. You can directly meet with the physiotherapist after referral from an outpatient nurse or through an assessment of the need for care by the Medical Helpline.

Which social services and health care centre you should attend is initially determined by your domicile.
